There are several steps involved in applying for admission to the program, and they depend on whether you are a Gordon State student, so please select below the category that applies to you and follow the steps.

Gordon State College students

  1. Fill out the application, print, sign, deliver to Academic Building Office 103A.
  2. READ Gordon State College's Code of Conduct statement, click on the link at the bottom of that statement, print and sign that form, deliver to Academic Building Office 103A.
  3. Fill out this form, save as a Word document, E-MAIL to k_guffey@gordonstate.edu.

ABOVE ALL, MAKE YOUR $650 DEPOSIT AT GORDON STATE COLLEGE'S Marketplace. You can certainly turn in all your application materials first, but be sure you pay your deposit by FEBRUARY 7.

Students from other institutions

  1. APPLY for admission to Gordon State College. Contrary to what the application says, you do not need to submit your transcripts, because you are applying as a transient student.. You must be accepted to Gordon State College within three weeks of the application deadline, i.e., Feb. 28.
  2. Fill out the application, print, sign, and send to the following address:

  3. Print out the course description and take it to your registrar. That person will give you a TRANSIENT PERMISSION FORM and tell you who needs to fill it out for you. You will then send the completed form to the following address:

  4. Obtain a copy of your IMMUNIZATION FORM from your registrar (it would be a good idea to get it when you get your transient permission form) and send it, along with the transient form, to the above address.
