08/18/2008-Welcome to PHYS1111.  I hope you're ready to work because we have a lot of it ahead of us.  I'm sure that if you are willing to roll up your sleeves and put your nose to the grindstone that you'll do great.  If you haven't already done so, please take a tour around the website here.  You'll find a schedule to help you remember when things are due and how to schedule your time.  There's also a list of homework assignments in case you forget what you're supposed to be working on or if you want to get ahead a bit.  Also, be sure to go out to your GeorgiaView Vista account and take the Personal Assessment Inventory and RQ #0 over the syllabus.
