Included in the Fall Showcase:
This is a skills showcase. Players will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in the following areas.
60 yard dash
Fielding and throwing from the positions of their choice; Outfield, Infield, Catching, Pitching. No limitation to the number of positions an attendee is allowed to showcase.
Ball Exit Bat Speed in the batting cages as well as on-field batting practice.
Parents and players will have a chance to ask questions to scouts and college recruiters after the showcase about the recruiting process.
Other important information:
Things to bring: Glove, hat, baseball pants, belt, socks, spikes, turf or running shoes, and any other equipment you use during a baseball game. Catchers will need to bring their own gear.
Batting helmets and bats will be available if you do not have your own. No other personal player equipment will be provided.
Do not bring valuables. Gordon State College is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Players can bring their own cooler for drinks, etc. We will have fresh water available throughout the day for all players.
You will be responsible for your own food.
