Using GALILEO in Dr. Boltz’s Class
When you access GALILEO on campus, you will not need a password. When you access GALILEO off campus, you will need a password, which you can acquire when you access GIL on campus.
Once you’ve accessed GALILEO you will see a search box and underneath it a button for "Advanced Search." Click on it. The new screen will allow you to refine your search.
Scroll down in the new screen until you see a box titled "Limit your results." Click on "Full Text." (You want to do this to avoid using abstracts or summaries of articles. Such abstracts will not be considered legitimate sources.
